Linda Figliola was raised by two artists in the wilds of Westchester County, NY.
Her studies in jewelry design and illustration at F.I.T. and R.I.S.D. led to a career in product design at The Franklin Mint and currently as a freelancer. She enjoys the design process itself sometimes more than the final product — her greatest inspirations coming from the exploration of endless possibilities. Linda's work with leather began by salvaging some scraps from a bin in a fabric store, and fabricating a wallet. "With leather I find a greater balance... It's magical and very rewarding," she explains. Her popular ”JED" bag is functional and comfortable as it drapes across the body.
